Cory was born and raised in Elkin.  He joined the EVBC staff in 2016. Cory graduated from Western Carolina University and obtained his Masters from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. He loves playing and watching most any sport, including his Denver Broncos and Boston Red Sox.  Cory's ministry focus within Elkin Valley ranges from middle school students to college age young adults.  He is married to Brooke.
